Maintaining resident independence and maximising lifestyle opportunities are of paramount importance at Restvale. Our residents are encouraged to enjoy full and meaningful lives through the initiatives of our Lifestyle Program.

Activities and Lifestyle program provides a range of activities designed to:

  • Provide a personal, meaningful, individually chosen lifestyle.
Restvale has a comprehensive Physiotherapy Program integrated with the promotion of well being for all residents. The facility contracts the services of a Physiotherapist and employs a Physiotherapy Aid to ensure the goals of the program are met and resident outcomes achieved. The Physiotherapy Program was chosen by the Accreditation & Standards Agency for presentation at the Best Practice Seminar in Adelaide 2006
Other services provided by the facility include:
  • Assistance with all activities of daily living
  • Medication management
  • Director of Care and Registered Nurses with excellent clinical expertise
  • Laundry services

Restvale has a strong focus on the clinical aspects of resident care through the use of evidence based practice across the facility. A strong commitment to ongoing staff education ensures skill levels are maintained to meet the care needs of all residents.

Volunteers play a very important part at Restvale to meet the individual needs of residents and promote wellbeing. They are involved in a number of lifestyle activities and interaction with residents.
The House Committee
Raises funds for Restvale enabling the purchase of various items of equipment. The House Committee are involved with the organisation of an annual Open Day held in November
